ACCORDING TO POST 26 GA. STATE PATROL IN THOMASTON--A MOTORCYCLE RIDER WAS LIFE FLIGHTED TO A MACON HOSPITAL AFTER A COLLISION WITH AN AUTO ON U.S. 19 AT ECHOLS CIRCLE THURSDAY.
THOSE INJURED: THE HONDA BIKE RIDER--WILLIAM ANDREW TROTTER , AGE 49 OF INDIAN TRAIL, AND TWO OCCUPANTS OF A SATURN ION--THE DRIVER ANNETTA IVEY AGE 51 OF BARNES AVE. AND A PASSENGER DARIUS WELLMAKER AGE 34 OF ACORN DRIVE-BOTH TRANSPORTED TO THE E.R. BY EMS.
THE GSP REPORT SAID THE SATURN DRIVER WAS NORTHBOUND AND FAILED TO YIELD WHEN MAKING A LEFT TURN INTO ECHOLS CIRCLE AND THE FRONT OF THE SOUTHBOUND MOTORCYCLE HIT THE RIGHT SIDE OF THE CAR.
