AMID REPORTS OF CASES OF CORONA VIRUS INVOLVING PATIENTS AND EMPLOYEES OF TWO THOMASTON NURSING CARE HOMES, HARBOR VIEW AND PROVIDENCE--UPSON COUNTY COMMISSION CHAIRMAN NORMAN ALLEN SAID NATIONAL GUARDSMEN FROM THE GOVERNOR'S EMERGENCY RESPONSE TEAM WERE IN TOWN FRIDAY FOR TESTING.
CHAIRMAN ALLEN SAID HE WELCOMED THE GROUP AT THE UPSON COUNTY HEALTH DEPARTMENT AND THANKED THEM FOR THEIR SERVICE. HE ADDED HE IS UNAWARE OF ANY DEATHS RELATED TO COVID-19 IN THE COMMUNITY.
