Pedestrian Struck by Car

Accord to The Griffin Daily News, A pedestrian was transported by air ambulance Monday morning after being hit by a car in the Spalding Village Shopping Center’s parking lot, according to authorities.

Laurie Littlejohn, Griffin Police Department investigator said Preliminary information shows the pedestrian was struck by a young, inexperienced driver who hit the gas instead of the brake.

The pedestrian was flown in stable condition to Atlanta Medical Center and is expected to make a full recovery.
