Body Found In Spalding County

Investigators with the City of Griffin Police Department and the Spalding County Sheriff’s Office discovered a body near the area where we received a report of a missing person late last week. 

Griffin Police Department Investigators, Spalding County Sheriff’s Deputies and the Spalding County Coroner are working together to identify the body. Information will be released once positive identification has been made and the next of kin has been notified.
