OFF DUTY SPALDING COUNTY DEPUTY IS IN ICU IN MACON AFTER
AN ACCIDENT DURING THE WEEKEND ON HANNAH'S MILL ROAD IN
UPSON COUNTY. DEPUTY JOHN TAYLOR SUFFERED A HIP FRACTURE,
FACIAL INJURIES AND OTHER INJURIES WHEN HE SAID ANOTHER CAR
VEERED INTO HIS LANE CAUSING HIM TO LOSE TO CONTROL AND
HIT A TREE.
TWO
GOOD SAMARITANS PULLED TAYLOR FROM THE FLAMES OF HIS
BURNING CAR .
DEPUTY
TAYLOR HAS UNDERGONE ONE SURGERY AND COULD REQUIRE MORE.
SPALDING S.O. SAYS HE HAS A LONG ROAD TO RECOVERY.
TAYLOR
IS A RECENT GRADUATE FROM THE POLICE ACADEMY, ASSIGNED TO
THE SPALDING S.O. PATROL DIVISON.
OFFICIALS
