TWO GIRLS STRUCK BY A CAR 74 WEST

ACCORDING TO UPSON COUNTY SHERIFF DAN KILGORE TWO 11 YEAR OLD FEMALE PEDESTRIANS WERE LIFE-FLIGHTED TO A TRAUMA CENTER AFTER THEY RAN INTO THE PATH AND WERE STRUCK BY A VEHICLE, TUESDAY EVENING ON 74 WEST BETWEEN CREST LANE AND JAY DEE ROAD.

ACCORDING TO POST 26 GA. STATE PATROL--THE FIRST VICTIM—ABIGAL WHITE OF KYLE COURT-THOMASTON WAS THROWN ABOUT 15 FEET FROM THE VEHICLE AND PEDESTRIAN #2 SUMMER FRAMPTON OF GREEN RIVER ROAD WAS THROWN 30 FEET.

THE VEHICLE -- A 2017 DODGE CARAVAN WAS DRIVEN BY DORA E. LASTER OF CREST HIGHWAY. THE GSP SAID THE VEHICLE WAS TRAVELING WEST AND THE PEDESTRIANS WERE ATTEMPTING TO CROSS 74 TO THE SOUTH AND THE FRONT RIGHT STRUCK BOTH PEDESTRIANS.
