THE
UPSON COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS HAVE REJECTED ALL BIDS
FOR A NEW COURTHOUSE ROOF INCLUDING A NEW CLOCK TOWER.
TWO BIDS W ERE RECEIVED BUT ONE WAS DISQUALIFIED.
THE
ONLY BID WAS JUST OVER $2 MILLION -- WAY TOO MUCH---THE
COMMISSIONERS SAID AT TUESDAY'S MEETING.
COUNTY
MANAGER JASON TINSLEY SAID THE COUNTY WILL NOW GO BACK TO
THE MARKET FOR MORE BIDS.
