THE STATE JUDICIAL NOMINATING COMMISSION HAS ANNOUNCED THE THREE FINALISTS FOR THE 5TH SUPERIOR COURT JUDGE IN THE GRIFFIN JUDICIAL CIRCUIT--ALL FROM FAYETTE COUNTY.
TWO BLACK FEMALE ATTORNEYS ARE AMONG THE TRIO, ASSOCIATE JUVENILE COURT JUDGE FOR THE CIRCUIT, RHONDA BENDER KREUZIGER, THE FAYETTEVILLE CITY COURT JUDGE NAIHAL GRANT MCFARLANE, AND THE CURRENT SOLICITOR-GENERAL FOR THE STATE COURT OF FAYETTE COUNTY, JAMIE K. INAGAWA.
THE NEW JUDGE WILL REPLACE FORMER CHIEF JUDGE CHRISTOPHER EDWARDS WHO RETIRED TO RETURN TO PRIVATE PRACTICE.
GOVERNOR BRIAN KEMP WILL APPOINT THE NEW JUDGE.
