TWO SCHOOL SUPERINTENDENT'S HONORED

AT THE GA. SCHOOL SUPERINTENDENT'S ASSOCIATION 2018 FALL BOOTSTRAP CONFERENCE IN ATHENS—TWO FROM THIS PART OF GA. ARE NOMINATED FOR GA. SUPERINTENDENT OF THE YEAR.--TO BE ANNOUNCED IN DECEMBER.

DR. MICHAEL DUNCAN, SUPERINTENDENT OF THE PIKE COUNTY SCHOOLS AND DR. CURTIS JONES BIBB COUNTY SCHOOL SUPERINTENDENT , AND FORMER SUPERINTENDENT OF THE GRIFFIN-SPALDING COUNTY SCHOOLS , ARE AMONG THE FOUR NOMINATED.

IN ADDITION , DR. DUNCAN WAS NAMED THE 2018 RECIPIENT OF THE BILL BARR LEADERSHIP AWARD-NAMED FOR AND DESIGNED IN HONOR OF THE FIRST EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR OF THE GSSA AND AMONG THE MOST COVETED RECOGNITIONS IN GA. PUBLIC EDUCATION.
