DURING A HEARING
WEDNESDAY MORNING, UPSON COUNTY CHIEF MAGISTRATE JUDGE JAN
STREETMAN GRANTED BOND OF $25,000 TO JULICIA HOLMES
ARRESTED AFTER HER THREE MONTH OLD INFANT WAS FOUND
DECEASED ON WEST COUNTY ROAD, OCT. 20.
AFTER THOMASTON POLICE
FOUND THE CHILD UNRESPONSIVE HOLMES WAS PLACED IN THE UPSON
COUNTY JAIL ON CHARGES OF CONCEALING A DEATH AND MAKING
FALSE STATEMENTS, AND CONCEALING FACTS.
POLICE INVESTIGATIONS
SGT. GEORGE LITTLE TOLD ZOOM RADIO NEWS THERE COULD BE
ADDITIONAL CHARGES ONCE THE AUTOPSY REPORT IS RELEASED FROM
THE GBI CRIME LAB. THE POLICE REPORT SAID OFFICERS
WERE CONTACTED 3 OR 4 HOURS AFTER THE BABY REPORTEDLY WAS
NOT BREATHING AND IT WAS TRANSPORTED TO THE E.R. TWO
OTHER CHILDREN WERE IN THE HOME AT THE TIME.
