A BILL IN THE GEN. ASSEMBLY REQUIRES INSTANT REPLAY

STATE REPRESENTATIVE PATTY BENTLEY OF TAYLOR COUNTY HAS INTRODUCED A BILL IN THE LEGISLATURE TO REQUIRE INSTANT REPLAY IN HIGH SCHOOL PLAYOFF FOOTBALL GAMES.

PEACH COUNTY HIGH CLAIMS A BLOWN-CALL IN THE CALHOUN GAME COST IT THE STATE CHAMPIONSHIP IN THE BENZ DOME.

DR. ROBIN HINES—EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR OF THE THOMASTON-BASED GA. HIGH SCHOOL ASSOCIATION -- SAYS THERE'S PROBLEMS WITH IT—IT WOULD EXPENSIVE AND THAT MONEY WOULD HAVE TO COME FROM SOMEWHERE.
