SHOP FIRE FRIDAY AT 2134 LOGTOWN ROAD—A STRUCTURE FIRE
WITH A LOSS OF $200,000—ACCORDING TO THE OWNER LONZO
DANIEL POPE.
MR.
POPE TOLD A DEPUTY HE HAD 40-YEARS WORTH OF STUFF IN THE
WOOD SHOP INCLUDING WOOD WORKING TOOLS, A ZERO TURN MOWER,
FIREARMS AND A BENCH FOR RE-LOADING AMMO.
HE
RETURNED HOME TO FIND THE WOOD SHOP IN FLAMES AND HE
JUMPED ON HIS TRACTOR AND WAS MAKING A FIRE BREAK WHEN FIRE
UNITS ARRIVED.

ATLANTA MEDICAL CENTER WITH AN ACCIDENTIAL SELF-INFLICTED
GUNSHOT WOUND TO THE THIGH AT 10 MORGAN ROAD.

TOLD UPSON S.O. HE HAD BEEN DRINKING AND WAS RE-LOADING A
45 PISTOL—AND HE THOUGHT THE SAFETY WAS ON—BUT WHEN HE
POPPED-IN THE MAGAZINE AND RELEASED THE SLIDE—IT
DISCHARGED.
