The Thomaston-Upson Board of Education approved a lower millage rate for taxpayers at Thursday’s called meeting. The board set a tentative rate of 15.118 mills for calendar year 2017. Last year’s rate was at 15.42 mills.
There will be a called Board of Education meeting at 8 AM on August 10 for the final approval of the lower school millage rate.
