THE IDA MET IN EXECUTIVE SESSION TO DISCUSS REAL ESTATE BUT ADJOURNED WITHOUT ANY MOTIONS.
JMF OWNER JAMES FORTNER WAS CITED OVER 20 TIMES BY UPSON COUNTY CODE ENFORCEMENT AFTER LOSING A CASE BEFORE THE GA. SUPREME COURT, CITATIONS ISSUED BECAUSE THE BUSINESS IS LOCATED IN A-R ZONING, A COUNTY ZONING ORDIANCE VIOLATION. FORTNER HAS REQUESTED A JURY TRIAL, BUT SUPERIOR COURT JUDGE BENJAMIN COKER HAS ORDERED SOME PROGRESS ON MOVING THE BIZ BY EARLY NEXT MONTH OR THE COUNTY CAN ADD MORE CITATIONS.
ATTORNEY GALLOWAY SAID THE BUSINESS NEEDS TO MOVE AND THIS IS THE BEST SITE.
