AT A THURSDAY PRESS CONFERENCE, UPSON COUNTY COMMISSION CHAIRMAN MAURICE RAINES ANNOUNCED MOBIS OF GEORGIA WILL HOLD A JOB FAIR AT THE CIVIC CENTER IN THOMASTON, WEDNESDAY, MARCH 30, 4 TO 7PM. HE SAID THE JOB FAIR IS THE CULMINATION OF AN 18 MONTH NEGOTIATION BETWEEN THE UPSON COUNTY COMMISSION, MOBIS OF GEORGIA AND OTHER TIER ONE KIA SUPPLIERS. MOBIS IS LOOKING TO HIRE 100 EMPLOYEES TO WORK A ROTATING SHIFT WITH A STARTING PAY OF $10.50, PROGRESSING TO $15.75 AFTER 36 MONTHS.
