There is a Marginal Risk (level 1 out of 5) for severe weather on Thursday through Thursday night for most of north and central Georgia as a cold front pushes through the area.

Main Hazards:

-Heavy rainfall

-Damaging wind gusts

-Brief tornado can't be ruled out

Showers and thunderstorms will increase on Thursday ahead of the cold front with the highest coverage expected from Thursday afternoon into Thursday night.

A few storms could become strong to severe.
