Power Line Severed In Northside

The walls are going up on the new Longhorn Steakhouse located in front of Home Depot in Thomaston. Construction started in October and contractors finished the grading and poured the slab in the past few weeks.

During today's activities an unmarked underground power line was severed by an excavator that resulted in Captain D's losing power. Utility crews responded and were able to restore the service. 

The building will contain 4,277 square feet and should be open by this summer.
