Squatter Arrested In Water Treatment Plant

A SQUATTER AT THE CITY OF THOMASTON WATER TREATMENT PLANT UNDER THE POTATO CREEK BRIDGE ON 19 HAS BEEN ARRESTED BY THOMASTON POLICE ON DRUGS AND OTHER CHARGES.

54 YEAR OLD KEVIN BOOTH HAD SET UP HOUSEKEEPING IN THE BUILDING USING THE UTILITIES AND HAD A TV AND RADIO INSIDE. 

POLICE FOUND THE LOCK ON THE BUILDING BROKEN OFF WHEN THEY OBSERVED A VECHILE PULL DOWN THE DIRT ROAD TOWARD THE BUILDING. THE MOTORIST TOLD POLICE HE WAS JUST DROPPING ANOTHER MAN OFF SO HE WAS RELEASED.

THEY FOUND BOOTH AT THE BUILDING, LOCATED MARIJUANA AND METH AND HE HAS BEEN CHARGED WITH A LAUNDRY LIST OF VIOLATIONS INCLUDING A FAILURE TO APPEAR SUMMONS TO CITY COURT.
