UPSON HOMESTEAD EXCEMPTON BILL FAILS AGAIN

STATE REPRESENTATIVE BETH CAMP TOLD 101 NEWS A VOTE ON UPSON COUNTY'S HOMESTEAD EXEMPTION BILL FAILED AGAIN IN THE GA. HOUSE BY 19 VOTES MONDAY AS THE FUSS-UP BETWEEN THE GOP AND DEMOCRATS CONTINUES OVER THE GWINNETT COUNTY REDISTRICTING MAP.

THE BILL IS BEING SENT TO THE INTERGOVERNMENTAL AFFAIRS COMMITTEE FOR SAFE KEEPING AND REPRESENTATIVE CAMP IS HOLDING 5 MORE UPSON COUNTY HOMESTEAD EXEMPTION BILLS THAT COULD BE DROPPED THIS WEEK. SHE SAID THE THE PIKE COUNTY SCHOOL SYSTEM HOMESTEAD EXEMPTION BILL COULD GO IN THE HOPPER TODAY.
