MANAGER RUSSELL THOMPSON AND REJECTED A BID FROM AN ATLANTA
DEVELOPER TO PURCHASE THE TRIANGLE OF PROPERTY IN
SILVERTOWN FOR HALF A MILLION DOLLARS, TUESDAY NIGHT.
BEFORE
A STANDING-ROOM-ONLY CROWD---THE CITY MANAGER SAID THE BID
DID NOT CONFORM TO CITY SPECIFICATIONS. COUNCIL FOLLOWED
THAT MOTION WITH ONE TO RE-BID THE PROPERTY.
