UPSON COUNTY ANIMAL CONTROL SHELTER WILL NOT BE TAKING IN STRAY DOGS UNTIL JAN. 6. THIS DECISION WAS MADE AS A PRECAUTIONARY QUARANTINE WILL BE ESTABLISHED AT THE SHELTER. CATS, KITTENS AND DOGS SUSPECTED OF AGGRESSIVE BEHAVIOR OR BITING WILL BE ACCEPTED—BUT ARE SEGREGATED FROM THE SHELTER’S GENERAL POPULATION. ROUTINE PATROL AND CALL RESPONSE NOT AFFECTED.
