SMALL OUTBREAK CANINE PARVOVIRUS

UPSON  COUNTY  ANIMAL  CONTROL SHELTER  WILL  NOT  BE TAKING  IN  STRAY DOGS UNTIL  JAN.  6. THIS  DECISION WAS  MADE  AS  A PRECAUTIONARY  QUARANTINE WILL  BE  ESTABLISHED  AT  THE  SHELTER. CATS, KITTENS  AND  DOGS SUSPECTED OF  AGGRESSIVE  BEHAVIOR OR  BITING  WILL  BE  ACCEPTED—BUT  ARE  SEGREGATED  FROM  THE  SHELTER’S  GENERAL POPULATION.
