LEVIN NEIGHBORS NATIONAL WINNER

LEVIN  NEIGHBORS,  A  KINDERGARTEN  STUDENT IN TINA  ROGERS’  CLASS AT  UL SOUTH  ELEMENTARY IS  A  NATIONAL  WINNER IN THE  MCGRAW HILL—MY MATH—WHAT  MATH MEANS  TO  ME—ART  CONTEST.

LEVIN’S  ARTWORK  WILL  BE  FEATURED IN  MCGRAW-HILL—MY MATH—STUDENT  MATERIALS AND  WILL  BE  DISPLAYED IN  THE  NEW  MUSEUM  OF  MATH, SCHEDULED TO  OPEN  IN  THE   FALL OF  2012  IN  NEW  YORK CITY. IN  ADDITION, LEVIN HAS  WON $14,500 IN  CLASSROOM EDUCATIONAL  RESOURCES FOR  HIS  KINDERGARTEN CLASS  AT  UPSON-LEE SOUTH. 

STUDENT ENTRIES WERE  SCORED  BY  A PANEL OF  CELEBRITY  JUDGES  AND  COMMUNITY VOTE  ACCOUNTED  FOR   30% OF  THE  TOTAL  SCORE.
