Upson county had a total of 74 new cases reported in June, a 26.33% increase over the month of May with 9 deaths.
Pike county reported 36 new cases, a 66.67% increase with one death.
Spalding county had the highest number of new cases and deaths in the four county area with 125 new positive cases, a 45.45% increase with 10 deaths.
Lamar county reported the highest percentage increase at 71.64% for 48 new cases with 4 deaths.
Statewide the number of positive cases have shown a significant upward trend in the past two weeks.
