GOV. DEAL VETOED RELIGIOUS LIBERTY BILL

GOV. NATHAN DEAL HAS VETOED THE RELIGIOUS LIBERTY BILL—THAT TRIGGERED PUSH BACK FROM BUSINESS LEADERS, THE HOLLYWOOD FILM INDUSTRY AND THE GAY COMMUNITY.

THE GOVERNOR SAID HOUSE BILL 757 DOES NOT REFLECT THE WELCOMING IMAGE OF GA.

STATE REPRESENTATIVE JOHNNIE CALDWELL WHO REPRESENTS UPSON, PIKE, AND LAMAR COUNTIES VOTED FOR THE BILL AND SAID HE'S DISAPPOINTED WITH THE GOVERNOR'S VETO.
