THAT SPOTLIGHTS PRODUCTS MANUFACTURED IN THE USA. THE
SEGMENT WILL AIR ON ABC NEWS IN THE COMING WEEKS.
IT
TIES IN WITH A BIG EVENT AT THE PLANT THURSDAY FEATURING
MARRIOTT HOTELS EXECUTIVE CHAIRMAN BILL MARRIOTT ANNOUNCING
THAT HIS CHAIN WILL BE FIRST IN THE U.S. TO PROVIDE GUESTS
WITH “MADE-IN-THE-USA” TOWELS AND BATHMATS FROM STANDARD
TEXTILE PLANTS IN THOMASTON AND UNION, SOUTH CAROLINA.
THE
AGREEMENT WITH STANDARD TEXTILE CREATES 150 U.S. JOBS AND
ADDITIONAL INVESTMENT.
STANDARD
TEXTILE IS PRODUCING THE PRODUCTS WITH 100 PER CENT COTTON
FIBER GROWN IN THE U.S.
