IN UPSON SUPERIOR COURT, JUDGE FLETCHER SAMS SENT THE JURY HOME FOR THE NIGHT IN THE THEFT OF SERVICES TRIAL OF BUSINESSMAN RICHARD HARVILLE OF THOMASTON. THE JURY RETIRED AT 2PM WEDNESDAY.
JUDGE SAMS ORDERED THE JURY TO RETURN TO COURT AT 9AM THURSDAY. HARVILLE CHARGED WITH DEFRAUDING THE CITY OF THOMASTON OF OVER $450,000 FOR DUMPING LEACHATES FROM THE TAYLOR COUNTY LANDFILL IN THE SEWER SYSTEM.
