Tuesday COVID-19 Report - Georgia Surpasses 100,000 Cases

The number of confirmed cases in Georgia is 100,470, the number of deaths is 2,899, Hospitalizations 12,226, ICU admissions 2,471.

The number of new cases reported today is 3,406. The mortality rate is 2.89%.

Statewide there has been a 23.59% increase in the past seven days, testing has increased 17.46%. 

Locally, Spalding county has experienced a 22.5% increase, Lamar 18.26%, Pike 16.67% and Upson a 7.32% increase.

Spalding and Butts counties reported one additional death.

Upson county reported 1 new case, Pike 1, Spalding 14, Lamar 3, Monroe 6, Butts 23, Meriwether 7, Talbot 6, Coweta 7, Fayette 36.

Gwinnett county has the highest number of cases with 9,972, Fulton county the highest number of deaths with 316.
