POST 26 GSP--4 INJURED WHILE FLEEING A TROOPER

ACCORDING TO POST 26 GA. STATE PATROL IN THOMASTON, A MILNER MOTORIST WAS LIFE FLIGHTED TO A MACON HOSPITAL AND 3 PASSENGERS WERE INJURED WHEN THEY CRASHED WHILE FLEEING FROM THE GSP AT HOLLIS AND PLEASANT GROVE IN UPSON COUNTY, THURSDAY.

ACCORDING TO TROOPER CLAYTON JONES, THE DRIVER 30 YEAR OLD STEVEN LUPES OF 5606 NEW HOPE ROAD, MILNER WAS SPEEDING AS HE APPROACHED THE INTERSECTION AND COULD NOT STOP. 

THE 2000 BUICK PKA HIT AN EMBANKMENT, WENT AIRBORNE, HIT SEVERAL SMALL PINE TREES AND FLIPPED OVER TWICE BEFORE COMING TO REST.

TROOPER JONES SAID THE THREE PASSENGERS WERE TRANSPORTED TO THE URMC ER BY EMS, 30 YEAR OLD TAMRONE COX OF SAVANNAH, TERRY AND JERRY TRICE, BOTH 54 OF 115 TRIUNE MILL ROAD.
