The number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in Upson county doubled from noon Monday to 7 pm, there are now 122 positive test results reported by the Georgia Department of Health and the number of deaths increased from 2 to 3.
Upson county has surpassed both Coweta and Fayette in the total number of cases in the area.
The deaths reported are a 70 year old female, an 82 year old male and a 61 year old male.
