  1. No surprise that the chairman directed Ms. Hammond to the manager. If you ask too many questions you will be advised to contact the county attorney. Ride around the county and you will see roads with dead ends, roads that are nothing more than driveways for people, and roads with one house on them getting the attention. What priorities! But if questioned, the answer is the same. Also, don't expect your call to be returned when they get mad at you for asking too many questions, it won't. Try to get work with the county. They use a bid process for work except in certain areas where a county employee dictates. When the bid process is used, the rules change when they don't like the outcome. Politics as usual. People need to get out and vote to get these dictators out of office.

  3. I wish everyone that has been done wrong by this board of commissioners would tell their story to everyone they know in the county. I know people needing to work to keep their business going, but, will not be given a chance to make a little of their tax money back by working and maybe help them get by. One business in this county that employs about 40 people can't get work with the county and certain people in power boasts about not letting them work. They have their own "personal" list to help and you can't get on the list unless you are buddies with certain people or it makes them look good. Also, watch who you vote for. Some people may be running to replace others to give the board more power to get their personal goals accomplished.
