GOVERNOR SONNY PERDUE HAS SET THE DATE FOR SWEARING-IN CEREMONIES FOR THE TWO NEW SUPERIOR COURT JUDGES IN THE GRIFFIN JUDICIAL CIRCUIT. MACK CRAWFORD OF PIKE COUNTY AND FLETCHER SAMS OF FAYETTE COUNTY WILL TAKE THE OATH OF OFFICE, MONDAY OCT. 4TH,3PM IN THE HOUSE CHAMBER. CRAWFORD WILL OCCUPY THE OFFICERS OF FORMER JUDGE JOHNNIE CALDWELL IN THE UPSON COUNTY COURTHOUSE AND JUDGE SAMS WILL OCCUPY THE OFFICES OF FORMER CHIEF JUDGE PASCAL ENGLISH IN FAYETTE COUNTY. JUDGE CRAWFORD HAS BEEN ASSIGNED ENGLISH’S PENDING CASES AND JUDGE SAMS, CALDWELL’S CASES.
