Memorial Wall At New Fire House

AT A FRIDAY WORK SESSION, THE THOMASTON CITY COUNCIL SETTLED ON ERECTING A LIGHTED MEMORIAL WALL AT THE NEW FIRE STATION, WITH LOVED ONES OF FORMER MEMBERS OF THE DEPARTMENT TO COVER THE COST OF PLACING NAMES ON THE WALL.

STEVE ELLERBEE HAD APPROACHED CITY HALL ABOUT FURNISHING AMERICAN FLAGS AT THE FIRE HOUSE FOR A MEMORIAL. COUNCILMAN RYAN TUCKER SAID HE AND THE CITY MANAGER HAD MET WITH HIM AND ELLERBEE APPROVED OF A MEMORIAL WALL.

AN AMERICAN FLAG WILL FLY AT THE FIRE STATION, BUT IT WILL BE FUNISHED BY CITY HALL.
