REPUBLICAN DAN KILGORE, CHIEF DEPUTY AT THE UPSON COUNTY SHERIFF’S DEPARTMENT POLLED 67% OF THE VOTE, TO WIN THE SHERIFF’S RACE OVER DEMOCRAT JEFFERY LITTLE 7465-3652.
TERESA HARPER WAS RE-ELECTED CLERK OF UPSON SUPERIOR COURT, WINNING OVER RUSS BRIDGES WITH 63%, 6911-3922.
MITT ROMNEY WON IN UPSON WITH 64% OF THE VOTE OVER PRESIDENT OBAMA.
THE CHARTER SCHOOLS AMENDMENT PASSED IN UPSON WITH 53% OF THE VOTE.
A TOTAL OF 11,139 VOTES CAST, A TURN-OUT OF 67%
