PEDESTRIAN HIT BY A VEHICLE

A  PEDESTRIAN  HIT  BY  A  VEHICLE     IN  DOWNTOWN  THOMASTON  FRIDAY  AFTERNOON,  WAS  TRANSPORTED  BY AIR   AMBULANCE  TO  AN  OUT-OF-TOWN  HOSPITAL. HE WAS  DESCRIBED  AS  A  WHITE  MALE  IN  HIS  MID-30’S, WHO  WAS  CROSSING  THE  STREET  AT  NORTH  CHURCH  AND  THOMPSON  JUST  BEFORE  4PM. A  BLACK  FEMALE  WAS  DRIVING  THE  FORD  EXPEDITION  THAT  WAS  INVOLVED. A  STOREOWNER  TOLD  TGA  NEWS   HE  LOOKED  UP  AND  A  SAW  A  MAN  LYING  IN  THE  STREET NEAR  THE  INTERSECTION.  UPSON  EMS,  THOMASTON  POLICE  AND  THE  GA. STATE  PATROL  RESPONDED.
