THOMASTON'S CITY MANAGER RUSSELL THOMPSON SAID SEVERAL OF THE 13 BUSINESSES WITHOUT 2023 ALCOHOL LICENSES HAD THEIR LICENSES GRANTED TUESDAY. COOK'S MARKET DOWNTOWN REMAINED LOCKEDUP WITH A POSTING ON THE DOOR FROM CITY OF THOMASTON CODE ENFORCEMENT EXPLAINING THE STORE HAD NO 2023 ALCOHOL LICENSE. THE MANAGER SAID CITY HALL HAD NOTHING TO DO WITH THE BUSINESS BEING CLOSED.
