THOMASTON POLICE CHIEF MIKE RICHARDSON SAID ALBANY POLICE ARRESTED A SUSPECT IN A THOMASTON CAR THEFT CASE AFTER A CHASE. TWO SUBJECTS WERE IN A STOLEN CHEVY EQUINOX FROM ALABAMA, A CAR THAT SURFACED IN THOMASTON EARLY TUESDAY THAT RESULTED 7 CAR BREAK-INS AND A STOLEN NISSAN IN THE DELUXE CIRCLE, G. STREET AREA. TWO MEN FLED THE VEHICLE IN ALBANY AND ONE OF THEM, A WHITE MALE WAS ARRESTED. TPD SENT A DETECTIVE TO ALBANY TO INTERVIEW HIM. CHIEF RICHARDSON SAID 4 SUBJECTS WERE SEEN ON SECURITY VIDEO AT SOUTHSIDE PB EARLY TUESDAY, WEARING MASKS AND GLOVES. THEY REPORTEDLY ALSO BROKE IN SEVERAL CARS IN BUTLER, ELLAVILLE, AND AMERICUS ON U.S. 19.
