THOMASTON POLICE CHIEF MIKE RICHARDSON SAYS A LAMAR COUNTY MAN HAS BEEN ARRESTED FOR SEXUAL BATTERY AND RECKLESS CONDUCT--48 YEAR OLD HORACE BENTLEY OF CHEROKEE ROAD, BARNESVILLE.
BENTLEY WAS MANAGER OF DOLLAR GENERAL ON NORTH CENTER STREET AND OFFERED A 17 YEAR OLD MALE EMPLOYEE A BROWNIE LACED WITH MARIJUANA AND IT MADE HIM ILL AND HE TESTED POSITIVE FOR THC AT THE E.R. BENTLEY ALSO ALLEGEDLY TOUCHED THE EMPLOYEE INAPPROPRIATELY . THE CHIEF SAID BENTLEY WAS FIRED FROM THE DOUGHERTY COUNTY SCHOOLS FOR SEXUALLY ASSAULTING A STUDENT.
