GANGLAND OPERATIVE ENTERS GUILTY PLEA IN UPSON CO

A GANGLAND OPERATIVE ENTERED A GUILTY PLEA IN UPSON SUPERIOR COURT ON RICO CHARGES THURSDAY. THE DEFENDANT, RESHAD J. FELDER WAS SENTENCED TO 10 YEARS WITH THE FIRST TWO TO SERVE IN PRISON, CREDIT FOR TIME SERVED AND WHEN RELEASED FROM JAIL, BANISHMENT FROM THE FOUR COUNTIES OF THE GRIFFIN JUDICIAL CIRCUIT. SENTENCING JUDGE HONORBLE SCOTT L. BALLARD INSTRUCTED FELDER PAY A $5000 FINE AND HAVE NO CONTACT WITH ANY KNOWN GANG MEMBERS.

FELDER'S INDICTMENT FOR GANG ACTIVITIES WAS AMONG 40-ODD UNSEALED WITH GOVERNOR BRIAN KEMP PRESENT AT THE UPSON COUNTY COURTHOUSE LAST YEAR INVOLVING GANG MEMBERS THAT STRETCHED ALL THE WAY TO CALIFORNIA.

ACCORDING TO DISTRICT ATTORNEY MARIE BRODER, FELDER WAS SCHEDULED TO GO ON TRIAL NOV. IST IN UPSON SUPERIOR COURT.
