SPALDING SO DEPUTY INJURED IN UPSON WRECK

AN OFF DUTY SPALDING COUNTY DEPUTY IS IN ICU IN MACON AFTER AN ACCIDENT DURING THE WEEKEND ON HANNAH'S MILL ROAD IN UPSON COUNTY. DEPUTY JOHN TAYLOR SUFFERED A HIP FRACTURE, FACIAL INJURIES AND OTHER INJURIES WHEN HE SAID ANOTHER CAR VEERED INTO HIS LANE CAUSING HIM TO LOSE TO CONTROL AND HIT A TREE.

TWO GOOD SAMARITANS PULLED TAYLOR FROM THE FLAMES OF HIS BURNING CAR .

DEPUTY TAYLOR HAS UNDERGONE ONE SURGERY AND COULD REQUIRE MORE. SPALDING S.O. SAYS HE HAS A LONG ROAD TO RECOVERY.

TAYLOR IS A RECENT GRADUATE FROM THE POLICE ACADEMY, ASSIGNED TO THE SPALDING S.O. PATROL DIVISON.


OFFICIALS ARE ASKING THE PUBLIC TO KEEP TAYLOR AND HIS FAMILY IN YOUR PRAYERS.
