PIKE MOTORIST KILLED IN UPSON CO. WRECK

ACCORDING TO POST 26 GA. STATE PATROL-THOMASTON, A PIKE COUNTY MOTORIST WAS KILLED IN A TWO VEHICLE ACCIDENT WITH TWO OTHER INJURIES AT DEL RAY ROAD AND HIGHWAY 36- IN UPSON COUNTY FRIDAY.

THAT DRIVER—20 YEAR OLD BRANDON GOBBLE OF 1737 ALABAMA ROAD, MEANSVILLE DRIVING A CHEVY CAVALIER FAILED TO YIELD AND PULLED INTO THE PATH OF THE OTHER CAR AND WAS STRUCK AT THE DRIVER'S DOOR. A PASSENGER, EMILY MOORE, AGE 20 OF 1737 ALABAMA ROAD , MEANSVILLE WAS INJURED AND TRANSPORTED TO URMC.

THE 2ND MOTORIST—AMANDA GAIL SPOON, AGE 39 OF 138 PERDUE ROAD—LAMAR COUNTY WAS DRIVING A FORD SUPER DUTY PICK-UP AND HAD COMPLAINT OF INJURIES AND WAS TRANSPORTED BY EMS TO WELLSTAR SPALDING REGIONAL HOSPITAL.
