RUTH , A RETIRED EDUCATOR, WAS THE FIRST FEMALE PRESIDENT OF THE THOMASTON KIWANIS CLUB, ONE OF THE FOUNDERS OF FOOD FOR THOUGHT, A PROGRAM THAT PROVIDES FOOD OVER THE WEEKEND FOR AT-RISK CHILDREN.
SHE CURRENTLY SERVES AS PRESIDENT OF THE UPSON REGIONAL MEDICAL CENTER’S FOUNDATION BOARD.
