UPSON COUNTY SHERIFF DAN KILGORE CONFIRMS TWO MOTORISTS WERE KILLED IN A HEAD-ON COLLISION ON PLEASANT GROVE ROAD NEAR THE CRAWFORD COUNTY LINE, TUESDAY AROUND 4;30PM.
REPORTS ARE THE TWO FATALITIES ARE CAMERON TRAYLOR, IN HIS 20'S WHO PLAYED ON THE UPSON-LEE STATE CHAMPIONSHIP BASKETBALL TEAM AND GRANT KING IN HIS 60'S , A CUSTODIAN AT UL MIDDLE SCHOOL WHO REPORTEDLY WAS PLANNING TO RETIRE AFTER THE SCHOOL TERM.
101 NEWS WAS TOLD MR. KING WAS DRIVING A PICK-UP, PULLING A TRAILOR AND MR. TRAYLOR WAS IN AN AUTO, POSSIBLY AN AUDI THAT CAUGHT ON FIRE AFTER THE CRASH AND THEN CAUGHT THE WOODS ON FIRE.
SHERIFF KILGORE ASKED FOR THOUGHTS AND PRAYERS FOR THE TWO FAMILIES WHO HAVE LOST LOVED-ONES.
