Butts, Lamar and Monroe Counties: Project to Resurface Interstate 75 Starts Monday Night

Crews with C. W. Matthews Contracting Company of Marietta, Georgia, will start a project to mill and resurface 13 miles of Interstate 75 from the Georgia 36 interchange (exit 201) in Butts County to the Georgia 42/North Lee Street interchange (exit 188) in Monroe County Monday night, Jun. 15, 2020 at 9:00 p.m. 

The project is being performed to improve the quality and durability of the roadway surface for its current and anticipated traffic needs.

During weekdays, the work will be done in overnight shifts from 9:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. 

During weekends, the crews will be active continuously from Friday nights at 9:00 p.m. to Monday mornings at 6:00 a.m.
