ELIZABETH DALLAS GOBEIL APPOINTED TO CT. OF APPEALS

GOVERNOR NATHAN DEAL HAS APPOINTED UPSONIAN ELIZABETH DALLAS GOBEIL TO FILL A VACANCY ON THE GA. COURT OF APPEALS.

ELIZABETH IS AN APPELATE JUDGE FOR THE STATE BOARD OF WORKMAN'S COMPENSATION . JUDGE GOBEIL AND HER HUSBAND BART CURRENTLY LIVE IN SAVANNAH AND BART IS A DIRECTOR OF ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT AND GOVERNMENTAL AFFAIRS FOR THE GA. PORTS AUTHORITY.

14 ATTORNEYS WERE INTERVIEWED FOR THE VACANCY CREATED WHEN JUDGE ELIZABETH BRANCH WAS APPOINTED TO A SEAT IN THE 11TH CIRCUIT.


ELIZABETH'S MOTHER BEA DALLAS LIVES IN THOMASTON AND HER LATE FATHER WAS DR. MAC DALLAS.
