Rock N Roll Hall of Fame Wants Mickey's Interviews

If you want to know something about music, ask Mickey Thrasher.

That's exactly what the Rock N Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland, Ohio is currently doing.

Thomaston native Jon Perdue recently made contact with Shannon Erb, the music archivist at the Hall of Fame and after hearing an interview Mickey did with Judy Collins the HOF wants to hear more.

Erb has asked Mickey to give the HOF access to all of his interviews and was quick to note that "I really think our researchers could learn a lot from them."

Mickey is in the process of having all the interviews copyrighted and loaded onto a medium that will allow for the transfer of the files to the HOF. With the completion of the project, Mickey will join Little Richard Penniman, Wayne Cochran and Harry Middlebrooks as another with Upson county connections whose work is in the Hall.
