MID-MAY COVID-19 UPDATE

Since the last half of April, Upson County’s cases, deaths and hospitalizations have continued in a steady downward trend. New cases dropped from 19 to 15, and new hospitalizations dropped from 3 to 1. There have been zero new deaths. Average 2-week test positivity is at a record low of 4.2%, which is less than the State’s 4.8% average. The Community Transmission Level is down from Substantial to Moderate.
