UPDATE ON CITY OF THOMASTON MURDER SUNDAY

THOMASTON POLICE CHIEF MIKE RICHARDSON HAS RELEASED MORE DETAILS ABOUT A MURDER INVESTIGATION INVOLVING INDIAN NATIONALS INVOLVED IN THE CONVIENCE STORE BUSINESS IN UPSON COUNTY-- APPARENTLY A BUSINESS DISPUTE THAT LEAD TO SETH MOHIUDDIN BEING STABBED AT LEAST THREE TIMES AT HIS RESIDENCE, A DUPLEX AT 104 CRAWLEY STREET EARLY SUNDAY. HE DIED A SHORT TIME LATER AT THE E.R.

THE VICTIM OWNS --A STORE ON WEST MOORE'S CROSSING ROAD--AND HIS GIRL FRIEND, ELIZABETH HERNANDEZ--SAID HE TOOK A PHONE CALL FROM SOMEONE WITH AN INDIAN DIALECT--THEN WENT OUTSIDE, AND THERE SEEMED TO BE AN ARGUMENT AND SETH STUMBLED INSIDE AND SAID HE HAD BEEN STABBED--WOUNDS TO THE CHEST, SIDE, AND ARM.

SEVERAL HOURS LATER POLICE ARRESTED SONNY SURYAVAMSHAM AND HIS GIRL FRIEND LAURA JOY ENGLISH ON FORREST AVE.--SONNY BELIEVED TO BE THE AGGRESSOR IN THE CRIME.

THE OTHER SUSPECT GOPI PINNHAKA WAS ARRESTED ON WEST MAIN ST.--BOTH MEN CHARGED WITH MURDER, THE FEMALE BOOKED FOR PARTY TO MURDER. A KNIFE WAS FOUND THAT COULD BE THE MURDER WEAPON-THE CHIEF TOLD US.
