IT WAS STANDING ROOM ONLY THURSDAY AT OAK HILL BAPTIST CHURCH IN WILLIAMSON—A CHURCH THAT HOLDS 1700—FOR THE FUNERAL SERVICE OF PIKE COUNTY FOOTBALL PLAYER DYLAN THOMAS, 16.

DYLAN DIED OF INJURIES IN THE PEACH COUNTY GAME—AND TEAMATES AND MEMBERS OF THE JUNIOR VARSITY TEAM WORE THEIR RED JERSEYS -- HIS NUMBER 32 WAS SCRAWLED IN RED ON CAR WINDOWS IN THE CHURCH PARKING LOT—SOME ACCOMPANIED BY THE WORDS DYLAN STRONG.


PLAYERS FROM PEACH COUNTY ALSO ATTENDED THE SERVICE WEARING THEIR GRAY JERSEYS
