THOMASTON POLICE CHIEF MIKE RICHARDSON HAS IDENTIFIED 5 WHITE YOUTHS CHARGED WITH $1600 IN VANDALISM AT THE MEN'S AND LADIES RESTROOMS AT GREATEST GENERATION MEMORIAL PARK--ONE OF THEM PRESTON COLIN, AGE 17, IS AN ADULT CHARGED WITH FELONY DAMAGE TO PROPERTY IN THE 2ND DEGREE AND DISORDERLY CONDUCT UNDER CITY ORDIANCE. HE WAS BOOKED AT THE UPSON COUNTY JAIL WEDNESDAY.
THE OTHER FOUR, ONE FEMALE WILL BE CHARGED THROUGH THE JUVENILE COURT SYSTEM. A 16 YEAR OLD CHARGED WITH DAMAGE TO PROPERTY, DISORDERLY CONDUCT AND OPEN BURNING PROHIBITED BY CITY ORDIANCE . TWO MALE JUVENILES AGES 14 AND 15 AND A 15 YEAR OLD FEMALE CHARGED WITH PARTY TO A CRIME OF DAMAGE TO PROPERTY AND A PARTY TO DISORDERLY CONDUCT.

SECURITY VIDEO, OCT. 24TH SHOWED SOMEONE IN THE PARK RESTROOMS BANGING AROUND. TWO SEPERATION STALLS IN THE MEN'S ROOM AND A BABY CHANGING STATION IN THE LADIES ROOM WERE DAMAGED. ITS ALSO SUSPECTED THEY DAMAGED A NEW WATER FOUNTAIN UNDER CONSTRUCTION.
PD INVESTIGATOR PETE SPAHN SAID PARENTS OF THE YOUTHS HAVE ALL BEEN NOTIFIED OF THE CHARGES
