MURDER CASE BEFORE UPSON CO GRAND JURY

GRIFFIN JUDICIAL CIRCUIT DISTRICT ATTORNEY BEN COKER SAYS EVIDENCE WILL BE PRESENTED TO THE UPSON COUNTY GRAND JURY WEDNESDAY ON TWO DEFENDANTS CHARGED WITH THE MURDER OF A LAMAR COUNTY MAN.


CAMERON JONES, AGE 20 OF THOMASTON AND KIERA WILLIAMS, 18 , OF ELLENWOOD ARE CHARGED WITH THE SHOOTING DEATH OF RODERICK CRAWFORD OF BARNESVILLE, WHOSE BODY WAS FOUND IN LINCOLN PARK JAN 3. AUTHORITIES SAY CRAWFORD MADE CONTACT WITH WILLIAMS ON A ESCORT WEBSITE AND THE TWO ALLEGEDLY TRIED TO ROB CRAWFORD WHEN HE SHOWED UP . THE TWO ALSO FACE MURDER CHARGES IN THE ATLANTA AREA.
